God Loves A Honest Heart

Helping your children to have a pure and honest heart before the Lord is one of the most important things we can teach them!

Letting them now that when they make a mistake by (ie. tell a lying or do something sinful) they can always be honest with the Lord, and He will always forgive them.

It is critical that children know that the blood of Jesus Christ will wash away their sin and make their hearts pure again. 

If you want to help your children build a strong relationship with the Lord, then you should gently teach them to always come before the Lord to ask for forgiveness. And, that Jesus is faithful and just to forgive them. (1 John 1:9)


How to Teach Your Kids That The Lord Is Forgiving

The Lord makes is so, easy for even children to understand His forgiveness with these description form the bible below.

1:  I, even I, am He who clots out your transgressions for my Own sake; and I will not remember your sins.  Isaiah 43:25


2:  He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.  Psalm 103: 10-12

God Never Lies

1: "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent;  Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He Spoken, and will He Not make it good?  Numbers 23:19

We Are to Be Like Jesus

Jesus want's us all to be honest and truthful.

In a gentle way you can encourage your kids to stop lying and help them to be honest by showing them the truth's in God's word. For His word will not return void! (Isaiah 55:11)
