1#  Luke 21:29-31

Then he gave them this illustration:  "Notice the fig tree, or any other tree.  When the leaves come out, you Know without being told that summer is near.  In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of God is near."


2# Psalms 75:16-17

Both day and night belong to you; you made the starlight and the sun.  You set the boundaries of the earth, and you made both summer and winter.

The flowers are springing up, the season of singing birds has come, and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air.
